Here are some of my latest “Green Monster” smoothie creations: A great way to get more greens into your diet first thing in the morning (or whenever you feel like a smoothie)!

Green Monster #1: “The Greenia Colada”

1/2 cup pineapple

1 cup spinach or kale

1/2 banana

1 tbsp Coconut Manna, or fresh coconut meat

1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

1/2 cup water or ice cubes if you like your smoothies really cold

1 tbsp hemp hearts

1 tbsp flaxseed

Blend and enjoy!

Green Monster #2: Harvest Blend
1 pear

1 apple

1 carrot

1/2 cup parsley

1/2 cup kale

1/2 cup almond, soy or rice milk

1 tbsp hemp hearts

1 tbsp pumpkin seeds

1/4 cup water or ice

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp vanilla extract
